Right of withdrawal

Under Decreto-Lei n.º 24/2014, you have a period of 14 calendar days, starting from the date you receive the product, to exercise your right of withdrawal, without needing to state a reason and without incurring any costs other than those set out in this policy.

To exercise this right, simply inform us of your decision by email at novavidacervejeira@gmail.com or by phone at +351 960 227 991 (call to national mobile network), before the end of the 14-day period.

Conditions for accepting a return

For a return to be accepted, the product must be sealed, unopened, and in its original packaging, in a condition suitable for resale. We do not accept returns of opened or consumed products, given the food/beverage nature of our items.

This requirement does not apply if the product is defective or does not match what was ordered — see the “Defective products” section below in that case.

Who pays for return shipping

Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility, except where the product is defective or was sent in error on our part, in which case Nova Vida covers the return shipping costs.

Refunds

After receiving and inspecting the returned product, we will refund the amount paid, including the original delivery cost (excluding any additional cost arising from choosing a delivery method other than the cheapest option we offer). The refund will be made using the same payment method used for the purchase, within a maximum of 14 days from the date we receive the returned product or, if earlier, the date on which we are provided with proof that the return has been shipped.

Defective or non-conforming products

Regardless of the right of withdrawal, you benefit from the legal conformity guarantee under Decreto-Lei n.º 84/2021, which applies for 3 years from delivery for movable goods. If you receive a defective product, one damaged in transit, or one different from what you ordered, contact us: depending on the case, we will arrange repair, replacement, a price reduction, or termination of the contract, at no cost to you, including return shipping costs.

Minimum age

Please note that our products contain alcohol and are sold exclusively to adults aged 18 and over, as set out in our Terms and Conditions.

How to make a return

  • Contact us at novavidacervejeira@gmail.com or +351 960 227 991 (call to national mobile network), within the applicable period, stating your order number and the reason for the return.
  • Wait for our confirmation with shipping instructions.
  • Send the product to the address we provide, properly packaged.
  • Once received and inspected, we will process the refund as described above.
