Our craft beers

At Nova Vida, we brew all our craft beers in Loulé, Algarve – with no middlemen, bottle by bottle. Indeed, every recipe comes from our passion for honest, well-made craft beers. Discover the beers currently available:

Tekoa

It is in Colorado, at the foot of the Rocky Mountains, that the brewmaster have found the inspiration to offer you this “TEKOA” (Magnific in Cheerokee), a blonde beer with a strong hopping flavor, which has its roots in the best American Pale Ales .

Alc : 6.8 % – Style: American Pale Ale (APA)

Eyota

IPA was originally an English beer. Although it has a native American name, this “Eyota” (the improvement) is firmly focused on this European origin.

Also, bitter and full of hops, but without abandoning the malted side, it will seduce the most demanding of IPA lovers.

Alc: 7,8% – Style : India Pale Ale (IPA)

Tia Anica

This beer is born in Loulé, just like me…
In memory of this essential song that my grandmother sang to me, symbol of our roots.

Alc: 4,2% – Style: Portuguese Pale Ale

La Quinta

This beer was born from a great friendship. It was at La Quinta, an oasis of calm and well-being in Loulé, that Thomas Sermain and Guillaume de Galembert met.
In fact, the master brewer and the owner of the guest house imagined this resolutely Portuguese Belgian-style beer which represents the lifestyle choice they have made.
The magic ingredient? The Laurel, symbol of Loulé, porque Louro é!

Alc: 7% – Style: Belge au laurier

L’Asthena

An intense, brooding Imperial Stout — dark as night and heavy on flavour. Fair warning: it might leave you a little weak in the knees. Finally, best enjoyed slowly, in a small glass.

Alc: 9.2% – Style: Imperial Stout

Salamandra

An unusual grain beer, brewed with rye and wheat. Besides, a rustic, spiced profile quite unlike the usual.

Alc: 4.2% – Style: Grain beer (rye & wheat)

Alfarroba

A Brown Ale brewed with alfarroba (carob), that sweet, dark treasure of the Algarve. Indeed, a liquid tribute to one of our region’s most iconic trees.

Alc: 5.2% – Style: Brown Ale (with carob)

Tu Vas Tomber

An elegant, fruity French IPA — softer on bitterness than its American cousins. Don’t trust the name: betrayal is guaranteed.

Alc: 5.3% – Style: French IPA

Ginja Bomba

A fruited sour brewed with Portuguese ginja (sour cherry), tart and explosive, just like its name promises. Finally, a little flavour bomb for the adventurous.

Alc: 4.7% – Style: Sour Ale (with ginja)
